The Bulb Region is a fantastic destination for nature lovers all year round. In every season, you can discover the varied nature here on the coast, in the dunes, the polders and near the lakes. Stroll through vast forests, walk over high dune tops and enjoy panoramic views of the sea. On the beach, you can experience peace, space and the healthy salty sea air – in summer and winter.
The Bollenstreek also has surprises in store inland. Green polders with windmills, birds and characteristic farms merge seamlessly into the water-rich area around the Kagerplassen lakes, ideal for cycling, walking or boating. In addition, historic estates and country houses offer leafy avenues, old trees and unusual flora and fauna. The Bulb Region is nature at its best in all seasons.

Hiking map Bulb Region
"Visit Duin- en Bollenstreek" has released a new walking junction map for the Bulb Region hiking network. This beautiful new map includes a clear overview of all walking junctions in our versatile region plus 20 walking routes divided into the themes of Bollen en Bloemen (Bulbs and Flowers), Historical Heritage, Forest, Beach and Dunes and Polders and Lakes.
