Your cycle route starts at Hotel Villa Flora. Drink a cup of coffee here before you cycle into the Bollenstreek. Your route will lead you past Keukenhof, where you can take a stroll around the estate surrounding Keukenhof Castle. Then you will cycle through the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes, a protected area which was established in 1853 as the first water supply area in the Netherlands. In Aerdenhout, which is surrounded by woods, you will see many majestic villas. Further on, you cycle through three beautiful interconnected estates: Leyduin, Woestduin and Vinkenduin.
Please note: part of this route runs along the grounds of the Keukenhof flower exhibition. The flower park is only accessible (on foot) from the end of March to mid-May, for a fee.
