The Beatles once performed in Hillegom. They did so in Hall Treslong in Hillegom. In Hillegom there is a beautiful monument in memory of this performance. And every Beatles fan should have seen this.
The "forgotten" performance of The Beatles in Hillegom will not soon be forgotten. A monument of the performance in Treslong was unveiled by Marga van Praag and alderman Karin Hoekstra. The presenter was given the honour because she was at the gig and was allowed to ask the band a question.
