t Hof van Hillegom is the former meeting place of the Counts of Holland. For more than 800 years, 't Hof has been the historical heart of Hillegom.

In the 14th century, the Gravenrade was held at this location, where the noblemen of the county met to govern the county. In 1481, the building caught fire and was severely damaged during the 80-Year War. However, the core of the building and certainly the basement are still medieval. In the 19th century, 't Hof was, among other things, the country estate of the Six family of Hillegom.
Since 1903 Hof van Hillegom has been used as the town hall. Nowadays the building is used for receptions, the office of the municipality, as a meeting room and for weddings, among other things.
