The riders compete for the first time in Noordwijk – the home of Red Bull Megaloop 2015 champion Lasse Walker – known for brutal North Sea storms and offering the perfect set-up for these riders to launch their most extreme megaloops.
Held only when conditions align, this event is an electrifying display of skill and bravery. With a weather window of September 1 until November 14, when Mother Nature usually bestows the right stormy conditions all partners – from production to safety crew – and riders will be on stand-by awaiting the ideal 35 knots of southwest wind. Have your fingers crossed for the perfect storm!

New for 2025: the Women’s Division enters the storm at Red Bull Megaloop. Six elite riders will take on the brutal conditions, pushing the limits of their sport with fearless style. Alongside the 16 men, they’ll be judged on Extremity, Execution and Flow. However, the men's division has a new strict 18m line limit pushing them to go bigger, harder and more extreme.
